YouTube is looking for its next batch of vlogging stars
YouTube is searching for its next group of stars, 360 to be precise, as part of its NextUp initiative. YouTube NextUp aims to help budding vloggers up their game by offering exposure, mentorship and financial backing. Since its launch in 2011, NextUp has helped launch the careers of over 250 YouTubers from 15 countries, according to the company. Some previous winners include beauty and lifestyle blogger Ingrid Nilsen, and Marcus Butler, who are both now full-time YouTube creators with millions of subscribers.
