Twitter opening up Moments for all to battle Snapchat, Instagram Stories


Twitter is following Snapchat and Instagram down the ‘Stories’ rabbit hole. Starting with “influencers, partners and brands,” Moments will eventually open up to every one of us. Moments are Twitter’s way of creating immediacy as it relates to information. Currently limited to a curated feed manicured by human editors, the core functionality will roll out to all users “in the coming months.” Over the next few weeks, Twitter will be making Moments available to the select few companies and influencers it is choosing to work with.
