EU proposal requires platforms to delete ‘terrorist content’ in 1 hour or face fines
Just 12 days after voting ‘yes’ on the controversial Copyright Reform, the EU is discussing new regulation that might further hurt smaller platforms. The EU Parliament’s Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice, and Home Affairs (LIBE) will vote today, April 8, on implementing a one-hour deadline for any platform to delete terrorist content.
