Vine’s new Trends page helps users discover the origins of viral memes

To celebrate its third anniversary on January 24, Vine today announced the launch of its Trends page, which highlights clips that are going viral on the social network. Many of the Web’s most popular memes last year grew on Vine, such as “On Fleek,” “Why You Always Lying,” and “Duck Army.” With Trends on Vine, users can select a growing trend, track related Vines and see the original video that started it all. To commemorate 2015, Vine also released a playlist of its most looped vines in the past 12 months. At the number one spot is the clip that showed the moment…
